EMA STRIKES COOPERATION DEAL WITH INSPECTION BODY

BY KEITH NUTHALL A COOPERATION agreement has been struck between the international Switzerland-based Pharmaceutical Inspection Co-operation Scheme (PIC/S) and the European Medicines Agency (EMA). Both sides will work together in training medicine inspectors; participate in each other's meetings; exchange information, especially on good manufacturing and distribution practice; and also in auditing pharmaceutical industry inspectorates.
