AN INTERNATIONAL regulatory cooperation pilot involving medicine regulators sharing real time assessments about generic medicines is now in full flow. The European Medicines Agency (EMA) is leading the initiative, building on the European Union’s (EU) experience of cooperation between national regulators. This key phase of the International Generic Drug Regulators Pilot (IGDRP) will start with generics assessment information being shared between the EU, Australia, Canada, Taiwan and Switzerland.
