EIB PLOTS BACKING FOR PIERRE FABRE EXPANSION

THE EUROPEAN Investment Bank (EIB) is planning to lend French pharmaceutical company Pierre Fabre up to Euro EUR125 million. The money would help it research and develop medicines for oncology, central nervous systems, cardio-vascular issues, immunology and dermatology. This money would come from an EIB-European Commission 'Risk Sharing Finance Facility' helping innovators.
