BY KEITH NUTHALL THE EUROPEAN Investment Bank (EIB) has announced it is lending Euro 100 million to Volkswagen India Private Ltd, a subsidiary of Germany's Volkswagen Group, to part-finance expansion of its new car manufacturing facility in the western India state of Maharashtra.
