EIB PLANS GDANSK AIRPORT CASH INJECTION

BY KEITH NUTHALL THE EUROPEAN Investment Bank (EIB) is planning to inject Euro 66 million into developing Gdansk airport, which serves northern Poland. The money would meet just under half the cost of a planned Euro 132.47 million expansion involving the construction of a new passenger terminal building; extending its apron; a new parallel taxiway; a de-icing platform; a new drainage system and other associated airside infrastructure.
