EFSA SAYS EU CHILDREN AT RISK FROM CHINA MILK CONTAMINATION

THE EUROPEAN Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has concluded adult European Union (EU) citizens are safe from eating contaminated Chinese milk powder, but has warned children could be at risk. Its conclusions follow an urgent inquiry requested by the European Commission following the health crisis in China caused by melamine contamination of milk powder and food products containing milk powder.
