THE EUROPEAN Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has launched public consultation on developing harmonised risk assessment procedures balancing the benefits of eating particular foods against the dangers of contaminant exposure. The idea is to create a European Union (EU)-wide approach to dietary advice, based on hard science.
