EEA LAUNCHES INTERNET OZONE POLLUTION MONITOR

BY KEITH NUTHALL AN INTERNET monitoring tool for ground level ozone has been launched by the European Environment Agency (EEA), which will enable environmental health officers to monitor its growth on a pan-European scale. 'Ozone Web' amasses hourly data from more than 500 air quality monitoring stations, displaying it in near real time, along with information on the health problems that can be caused by concentrations.
