EBRD: CROATIA/RUSSIA

BY KEITH NUTHALLTHE EUROPEAN Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will lend up to Euro 35 million to Croatian supermarket chain Getro, helping it add nine more stores to its current 15. Although this expansion will be in Croatia, the company will also use the money to explore moving into neighbouring Serbia & Montenegro and Bosnia & Herzegovina. Family-owned Getro has 7.3% of Croatia's retail market, the second largest share.
