EBRD CONSIDERS FINANCING 20-YEAR PROJECT FOR THREE AIRPORTS IN MACEDONIA

BY KEITH NUTHALL THE EUROPEAN Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD) has earmarked Euro 45 million for a planned loan financing a 20-year airport concession in Macedonia. This would include the development, finance, operation and maintenance of a new terminal building at Skopje's Alexander the Great airport; renovating Ohrid's St Paul the Apostle airport; and building a new cargo airport at Shtip.
