THE EUROPEAN Aviation Safety Agency has appointed its first Executive Director. He is Patrick Goudou, of France, an armaments engineer, currently director of the Aeronautical Maintenance Service of his country's General Delegation for Armaments, where he has spent most of his career. M Goudou's experience includes engine testing and the management of economic investigations, aerospace and commercial affairs.
