BY PHILIP FINE THE INTERNET auction house eBay is looking to lure sophisticated fashion shoppers onto its popular site. It signed up US designers Proenza Schouler, who will put up more than four dozen pairs of shoes, along with 50 garments, from recent New York fashion shows. The 10-day sale, which was to begin February 26, is the second time since September, when Narciso Rodriquez auctioned off some of its high-fashion items, that haute couture has used eBay.
