THE EUROPEAN Commission is taking Denmark to the European Court of Justice claiming that it is breaking EU freedom of movement of goods laws because of its restrictions on enriched foods. Danish regulations do not allow foodstuffs containing additional vitamins to be sold, unless checks on the nutritional need for the enrichment have been documented in Denmark.
