DAMAGED GOODS DUTIES

THE EUROPEAN Union Council of Ministers has approved European Commission proposals that anti-dumping duties levied on imports of ferro-silico-manganese from China and the Ukraine should be reduced when consignments of the metal have been damaged before being admitted into the European Union (EU). Ministers agreed duties should be adjusted to reflect any loss in value of the cargo.
