The largest Czech Republic power company, ?EZ, has just made a decision to extend its footprint in heat production; announcing on July 28, 2011, that it plans to acquire Energotrans, the Czech company which supplies heat from the town of M?lník to the nearby Czech capital, Prague. Energotrans is controlled by Prague's major heat supplier, Pra?ská teplárenská.
