Security software makers Kaspersky Lab and crime fighters from Interpol, Europol and different countries have uncovered an unprecedented cyber-robbery.Up to USD1 billion was stolen in about two years from financial institutions worldwide, Kaspersky said yesterday (FEBRUARY 16) while warning that attacks are continuing.The culprits have been dubbed ‘Carbanak’, a multinational gang from Russia, Ukraine, other parts of Europe, and China.
