Croatia's paint and coatings industry is aiming to capitalise on the benefits of the country's recent July 1 accession to the European Union (EU), and is hoping that an economic recovery can also help the industry return to growth over the next year.The value of the Croatian paints and coatings industry in 2012 was Croatian Kuna HRK725.4 million (USD126 million), according to data from the Croatian Chamber of Economy, with sales last year around the same level as in 2011.
