CROATIA MEDICINE INFORMATION ASSESSED FOR EU ENTRY

BY KEITH NUTHALL

THE QUALITY of Croatian language information provided on packaging for European Union (EU) medicines is being assessed by the European Medicines Agency (EMA). Croatia is scheduled to join the EU in June 2012 and EMA wants to ensure Croatian-language medicine information complies with EU information rules before that date. Packs with poor translations might be blocked from sale afterwards.
