The international can-making and associated industries have committed themselves to greater sustainability, as the world finally agrees to take tangible steps to keep climate change within what is hopefully a manageable level.
To this end, 29 major companies, institutes and associations linked to can makers, recyclers, aluminium makers and rollers, released a declaration of practical steps towards reducing their own greenhouse gas emissions, directly and indirectly.
