CONSENSUS EMERGES THAT COMPULSORY IFRS SHOULD BE EXPANDED IN THE EU

ACCA has called on the European Commission to propose extending the scope of mandatory use of international financial reporting standards (IFRS) within the European Union (EU), stressing the value created by IFRS in Europe and worldwide.
