COMMISSION’S GEOBLOCKING PROPOSALS WILL CREATE LEGAL UNCERTAINTY, COSMETICS INDUSTRY WARNS

A EUROPEAN Commission’s proposal for a European Union (EU) regulation designed to prevent cosmetics, soap and perfumery brands from refusing to sell to consumers in a foreign EU member state, if a distributor is prepared to export the product, will give cosmetics companies less control, according to industry association Cosmetics Europe.
