AFTER the disappointment of the Copenhagen summit on climate change, it is perhaps encouraging to note that the auto industry - so often painted as the bad boy of the climate change issue - really is reducing its vehicles' carbon dioxide emissions.
And faced with environmentalist doubters, it would be worth quoting the latest detailed statistics from the European Commission, the European Union's (EU) executive, that does not just prove emissions are falling now, they have for the last 10 years.
