CHINA’S SHUANGHUI TO INVEST USD632 MILLION IN PRODUCTION CAPACITY EXPANSION

MAJOR China-based meat products manufacturer the Shuanghui Group is to invest about Chinese Yuan Renminbi CNY4 billion (USD632 million) in 2013 to expand production capacity. A spokesman confirmed to just-food that Shuanghui will invest in “building new facilities, improving technologies and buying equipment,” adding the company will also expand its sales network to smaller towns and rural areas across China.
