CHINESE tobacco exporters are facing stiff additional duties of 25% imposed by the US government on a wide range of tobacco products imported into the USA, as the two countries’ trade war worsens. Washington has increased previous 10% additional duties on manufactured lines, leaf and tobacco waste from China to 25% from May 10, citing a lack of progress on ongoing trade talks.
