CHINA PLOTS RETALIATORY WINE DUTIES ON USA EXPORTS OVER METAL TARIFF ROW

CHINA’S ministry of commerce has warned that it is prepared to impose retaliatory 15% duties on American wine exports to China, retaliating to the USA imposition of 25% and 10% duties on imported steel and aluminium. It has released a draft list of products that would attract these Chinese import duties. Named lines include still and sparkling wine; grape juice with added alcohol; and other grape juice.
