CHINA PLOTS MAJOR AIRPORT EXPANSION NATIONWIDE IN 2016

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has announced that around Chinese Yuan Renminbi 77 billion (USD11.7 billion) will be spent on building civil aviation infrastructure in across the country during 2016. In a statement, it said airports would be a key focus, with additional funds being allocated on expanding airports in Beijing, Chengdu, Qingdao, Xiamen and Dalian.
