CHINA LAUNCHES DRONE REGISTRATION SYSTEM IN JUNE

THE CHINESE government will from June 1 require the registration of all civilian drones weighing more than 250 grammes, should operators want to fly them legally in China’s airspace. Owners will have to register them using their real personal names, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has announced. The government is also developing systems to check and share civilian drone registration data among public agencies, said state news agency Xinhua.
