CHILE MAKES FIRST EXPORT OF LIVE HEIFERS TO CHINA

Chile has exported more than 7,000 heifers to China in its first major export of live cattle, which has just arrived at its destination, and the government hopes this might be the start of developing a long term beef livestock export trade.The country is currently a smaller player in the region’s beef sector.
