CANADA’S EDMONTON AIRPORT STRIKES COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH GREEN FUEL COMPANY

CANADA’S Edmonton International Airport (EIA) has signed a memorandum of understanding with NextStep Renewable Energy Inc (NSRE) to cooperate in constructing a processing facility in the western province of Alberta. The project will utilise existing, proven, market ready technology to make “high quality drop-in jet fuel and diesel fuel”, said NSRE – diversifying Alberta’s fossil-fuel reliant energy sector. Edmonton airport has already participated in an Air Canada’s biofuel demonstration flight.
