GM unveiled a whopping 21 per cent year-on-year increase from May 2001, reporting that it sold more trucks in Canada last month than in any other May in history. DaimlerChrysler Canada reported a 12.3 percent increase in May vehicle sales compared with May, 2001, which was also due to a healthy (19.4 per cent) increase in truck sales.
