BYRNE PUB SMOKING BAN

BY KEITH NUTHALLANTI-TOBACCO European health Commissioner David Byrne has admitted that his officials are examining possible European Union legislation banning smoking in pubs, bars and restaurants, although he admits probable "cultural" opposition in parts of Europe. His move reflects mirrors and agreed law in his native Ireland.
