BY KEITH NUTHALL THE EUROPEAN Court of Justice has banned selling olive oils via 'bags in a box', where consumers choose an amount of oil to be bagged and placed in a sturdy container. The court has ruled that under EU regulation 1019/2002, (of directive 2000/13/EC), olive oil must be sold in pre-packaged containers with appropriate labels, containing information on bulk and sell-by dates.
