BULGARIA RECEIVES INTERNATIONAL LOAN FOR MEGA WIND FARM PROJECT

THE BULGARIAN government is being lent Euro 198 million to develop a 156-megawatt wind farm. This money will come from the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), of the World Bank. An EBRD note said the loan would "help the country promote clean and sustainable energy and reduce its dependency on fossil fuels".
