THE EUROPEAN Union (EU) Council of Ministers has formally approved granting Bulgaria immediate duty free access to the EU market for a range of meat products from this year onwards. These include animal fats and oils, meat-stuffed pasta and broths. Bulgaria should join the EU by 2007, opening its markets to products from other European countries.
