BULGARIA DEAL

FLAVOURED wines, such as Vermouth, exported from Bulgaria into the European Union (EU) will be free of import duty until 2007, when the country will probably join the EU. The trade concession is part of a deal struck with the European Commission easing its entry. Mineral waters will also enter the EU duty free, but not regular wines.
