BRUSSELS EXPANDS PROBE ON TAX RULINGS

THE EUROPEAN Commission has extended a probe on tax rulings practice in Luxembourg and Ireland to cover all EU member states. Brussels officials will ask governments especially to confirm whether they provide tax rulings, and, if so provide a list of all companies receiving a ruling from 2010 to 2013. The Commission wants to see if such decisions create unfair advantages for companies trading within the EU’s border-free single market, breaking EU state aid rules. ...
