BRITISH OVERSEAS TERRITORIES ANGERED BY UK BENEFICIAL OWNERSHIP VOTE

LEADERS of Britain’s overseas territories have reacted with anger to a House of Commons vote forcing them to create publicly accessible beneficial ownership registers by December 31, 2020. The chief ministers of the Cayman Islands, Bermuda the British Virgin Islands (BVI) and Gibraltar have already spoken out – their reaction embittered by the fact that crown dependencies the Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey will not have to follow suit.
