Brazilian booksellers teamed up at São Paulo’s international book biennial from August 22 to 31 to lobby its government to help protect them against Amazon’s physical and e-book sales service, now serving South America’s largest economy.Amazon launched its physical books service on August 21 with 150,000 titles available, the vast majority on Brazilian Portuguese.
