BRAZIL EMERGES AS A PROMISING TEXTILE MARKET FOR MAURITIUS

The emergence of Brazil as a major economic power and highly promising market of 200 million inhabitants is luring Mauritian textile producers to foray further in Latin America’s largest national market. Indeed, despite Brazil’s ongoing economic recession, Mauritian textile and clothing exports to the country have more than quadrupled since 2012, according to trade promotion body Enterprise Mauritius. Its officials told WTiN.com that Brazil has a particularly lucrative market for Mauritius-manufactured t-Shirts.
