BLUETONGUE MEETING

INTERNATIONAL guidelines dealing with outbreaks of the livestock disease bluetongue are to be updated by the Office International des Épizooties (OIE), the world animal health organisation, following its third global symposium on the subject, held in Sicily, Italy. The changes would promote the safe trade of livestock animals, said the OIE.
