THE OUTBREAKS of bird flu in Germany, Britain and the Netherlands is hampering efforts to create export markets in mainland China for these countries’ poultry and poultry products.China’s Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) on November 27 banned any poultry products and birds from entering China if they were produced and reared in North-Rhine Westphalia.
