REPRESENTATIVES of the biofuels industry have attacked European Commission energy targets for 2030 for not including anything mandatory targets for manufacturing second-generation biofuels and for planning to scrap transport fuels emissions plans.“Europe should set a binding target for sustainable transport, and a dedicated sub-target for advanced biofuels, combined with the GHG (greenhouse gas) emission reduction goal, to ensure that future growth in the EU (European Union) biofuels market comes from the best performing biofuels,” said CEOs of energy ...
