BECHTEL WILL DRAFT SHARJAH EXPANSION MASTERPLAN

AVIATION project management company Bechtel has secured a contract to create an expansion master plan for Sharjah International Airport in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Selected by the Sharjah Airport Authority, the US-based company will this year conduct short-term and long-term analyses of the airport’s future needs. The study is expected to take eight months. Its solutions will enable the airport to cope with passenger numbers rising from 8.5 million last year to a projected 15 million passengers over the next 20 years. This, said a Bechtel note was ...
