BY KEITH NUTHALL THE SCALE of fraud in the UK fell in 2013, according to accounting and business advisers BDO, but more was committed in financial services.Its latest FraudTrack report - assessing all reported fraud cases involving at least GBP50,000 within Britain - said the total amount of fraud fell from GBP1.37 billion in 2012 to GBP1.05 billion in 2013. However, the total value of financial services fraud rose from GBP473 million in 2012 to GBP532 million in 2013, with the number of frauds rising from 122 in 2012 to 132 in 2013.
