BY SWINEETHA DIAS WICKRAMANAYAKEA CONSORTIUM led by Thailand's Italian-Thai Development Plc has won a tender to construct the passenger terminal at the country's second international airport, Nong Ngu Hao. The group had submitted the lowest bid at 36.67 billion Baht, the Thai government said. The contract has still to be approved by the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, which is a major source of funding for the project, although it is not expected to refuse permission.
