BAGHDAD TO SECURE RVSM TECHNOLOGY AND SYSTEMS

THE INTERNATIONAL Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) has unveiled plans for the Baghdad flight information region to introduce reduced vertical separation minimum (RVSM) systems. Coming hot on the heels of Iraq regaining control of its civil airspace from the USA, ICAO wants preparations to ensure that a final decision on implementing RVSM could be made from next September.
