AUSTRALIA-USA TRADE DEAL

BY KEITH NUTHALLTHE AUSTRALIAN aluminium industry will be a key beneficiary of a new free trade deal between its government and the USA that removes all tariffs on metals traded between the two countries, Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has claimed. In a memorandum, it has noted that the deal would be "particularly valuable for our aluminium industry, currently exporting A$134 million (US$104.31 million) to the United States."
