MORE than 13 million passengers per year use Auckland International Airport - indeed according to Richard Llewellyn, senior communications manager for the airport : "More than 70 per cent of all visitors to New Zealand arrive or depart through it." For most travellers Down Under the hub provides their first and last impression of the country and therefore plays an important role in shaping perceptions.
