CARIBOU birthing will not be impaired if oil drilling is limited to the northwest portion of the oil-rich Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, according to a new study by the US Geological Survey. The oil industry applauds the new scientific proof but critics dismissed the study as too narrowly focused.
