ANIMAL WASTE

AGREEMENT has been struck by the European Parliament and the EU Council of Ministers over the final shape of new simplified and improved EU regulations governing the use of animal by-products not used for human consumption. They include rules on collection, storage, transport, handling, processing, use and disposal and are designed to help prevent further outbreaks of diseases such as foot and mouth.
